MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! **applause applause**with gerard (vocals), mikey (bass), frankie (rhythm guitar), ray (lead guitar) and bob (drums)
they were once a typical struggling rock band formed in new jersey until well, they became what they are now. their songs are mostly punk rock, rock, alternative rock and some mellow (for me, that is.. and according to a docu, there must be one mellow song in every rock band's album). some label them as emo or sellouts (the hell i care what they say!haha)
in an interview, they were told that they are the cleanest rock band so far on the face of the earth LOL i was shocked as they are! LOL! and their reaction was "you mean in terms of hygiene??" :P for all i know, they are no more than the typical bands out there who dont take a bath or brush their teeth or change clothes as often as they should be just to project the rockstar image! with all the tattooes and the piercings covering their bodies! (though frankie is the "dirtiest" when it comes to tattooes and piercings in mcr) the interviewer explained that they are the cleanest because they don't use drugs or drink alcohol. (i was like, oh really??) gerard became sober few years ago after he almost died due to too much alcohol and the others just followed him (aww bless them!) but they still smoke and drink coffee and have lotzz of women, maybe.. who knows. that's just what the news says and i believe the news! :D
gee and mikey were already married (nainggit ata si gee kay mikey! amf! and hopefully will be divorced soon! hahaha LOLZ), frankie is engaged to his gf for 10 yrs (wow!), ray and bob are the most hardworking in the band (hahaha i dont know much about them).. frankie is the youngest technically, but mikey is their little brother since he is the lil bro of gee. frankie and gee had some "kissing scenes" which can be found on youtube, but they are not gay!
the reason why i like them more than the rest, (i like asian kung fu generation, fall out boy, PATD, taking back sunday and many moooore!) is because mcr is my anti-depressant (refer to previous post).. their songs uplift me when im down.. parang ecstasy! hahaha.. right now, my favorite is their "im not ok (i promise) and "thank you for the venom". more than the looks (yeah, i find them good-looking :P mikey is the most good-looking of them all, next is gee and then frankie then either bob or ray LOL), i can't say that they have the best songs in the whole wide world. they are just my favorite. that's it!
im keeping my fingers and my legs crossed that they will someday come to pinas for a concert. not so soon, though. some other time if i have enough money to be there ^___^
